Onsen ‘Vandalized’ Claim Owners

Authorities are investigating a break-in incident at local hot springs. Some time between closing on the 24th and the morning of the 25th of June a break in occurred at the Sin Pool and Clean Onsen. A motive has not yet been established. Authorities report that no valuables were taken from the Onsen, but the facilities were clearly used and the owners say vandalized. Owners claim the hot springs have become full of cat hair and that the facilities in general smell like stale Cheetos and gamer sweat. There are currently no leads on the culprits of last night’s break-in.

Authorities provided a statement to ONN.

“The incident over the past weekend is regrettable and doesn’t reflect the wider community. We’d like to also emphasize that no one in the department was taking part in the festivities and that we all bathe nightly and do not carry any sort of ‘gamer odor’. When we find out who the perpetrators of this heinous crime are you can be assured they will having nothing to do with us and that we are not involved in the matter.”

Authorities refused to provide comment to ONN when asked follow up questions about what “festivities” meant.
